Drive Motor for Forklift - MCC's or otherwise known as Motor Control Centersare an assembly of one or more sections that contain a common power bus. These have been utilized in the auto industry ever since the 1950's, for the reason that they were used a large number of electric motors. Now, they are used in various industrial and commercial applications.
Within factory assembly for motor starter; motor control centers are somewhat common practice. The MCC's consist of variable frequency drives, programmable controllers and metering. MCC's generally sit on floors which should have a fire-resistance rating. Fire stops can be needed for cables that go through fire-rated floors and walls.
