Originally started as Toyo Carrier Manufacturing Company Limited, in 1949, the business was later renamed Toyo Umpanki Co. before becoming known as the TCM Corporation. Started by Mr. N. Niwa manufactured Japan's very first forklift. Through the years, TCM lift trucks have become an international leader in forklift manufacturing and have built a solid reputation with the business. TCM began building forklift manufacturing locations outside of Japan during the 1980s and is presently engaged in forklift manufacturer at three foreign factories in Europe, China and the United States.

With over fifty years of accumulated technology and expertise, TCM has been proudly manufacturing several models of industrial forklifts, making their models recognizable all around the globe. With an energetic and strong workers, TCM has been able to constantly work towards becoming a future leading material handling company.
